Greetings,

So I just installed ObjectDock Plus V1.9 and I have found a couple issues. Here is a screenshot which will help to show you what I mean.

Ok so

1. Notice under the folder box I wrote that you can't see the folder on the dock. Its confusing because folders are represented by My Computer Icons and that can be quite the hassle. I think it should show a folder icon.

2. I am running Vista and if you go to add/remove programs and click on Objectdock and then click the uninstall button. Nothing happens. I had to go to the Program Folder and then use the UNWISE.EXE

3. Notice the Red square around the documents folder on my desktop. Whenever I load ObjectDock that empty folder shows up. If i delete it and reopen ObjectDock it readds the folder. I know its from object dock because if my computer is in the middle of a calculation it comes up with a box like its moving a file that says 'Objectdock........ to 'ObjectDock........

Can anyone Help out with these problems? Anything would be appreciated Thanks.

Did you ever figure out the Outlook problem or the Systats problems.

I can't get outlook to launch from Objectdock. It gives the same error as above.

I can launch Outlook fine from Sidebar, Quicklaunch or startmenu. Only OD+ chocks?

Systats work, but no battery, or Wifi info??

There is a problem with Object Dock and Outlook 2007 execution. I have faced this problem and am unable to resolve it.

The version I am using in ObjectDock plus 1.90 downloaded from Stardock site and it is not an illegal copy.

Firstly, this problem starts occuring once you have done Windows Vista Updates. Until then, there is no problem whatsoever with ObjectDock. On system restore the problem gets resolved. However, the drawback then is that you will not be able to do Windows update and have ObjectDock working in perfect condition simultaneously.

What all I have tried:
1. System Restore : Resolves the problem
2. Adding any system variables or environment variables in Vista: NO GO
3. Safe Mode: The ObjectDock link for Outlook works well in SafeMode when ObjectDock is executed there. So problem lies only in Normal Vista Mode.
4. Tried to create shortcuts in different directories but NO GO. All other exe files of Office work properly.

Hence, the problem is a conflict with ObjectDock and Windows Update. I have not tried with Vista SP1 yet, but shall do so.

Oh yes, and Outlook does open perfectly when I try from Start-Program Menu. Hence there is execution problem in ObjectDock.

2 probable bugs:- every time I try to use the Start Menu Launcher I get these two messages:StartMenu helper file was injected but failed to take effect. Can not show start menu at this time, please try again.Object Dock was unable to find the start menu to show. Can not show start menu at this time, please try again.- When selected the Dock Entry Property in the menu, I get a crash. I'm using Windows Vista Home Pro Edition, in spanish ... (I have the theory that using it in spanish may be the explanation re the first possible bug).

I had the same problem with Start Menu Button under Windows XP sp2 French, I solve it using the Start Docklet for XP SP2 Link
